AVAYA G3 no dialtone/slow dialtone

Have latest G3 and using AVAYA 2020 stations, users are experiencing slow or no dialtone. Could this be a firmware issue in the phone.

What release and processor are you running (ie CM 1.3, CM 2.2, G3si, S8500, S8300, etc.)? Do you mean 2420 phones? Is it all the phones on the system doing this, or just phones of this model type? What model circuit pack/media module are the phones plugged into?

If these are IP phones it could be simply DSP resource availability. In order to help you we will need more information.

If I remember correctly, there is a command 'list measurement occupancy tone' that will give you info if all the tone resources are being used up so they are having to cue, so you get the delay.
