Hi
I have installed an IP office and am using the Avaya Application server as its File server. Everything is on the latest version. This seemed to be working ok but had a couple of issues with certain phones having some call quality issues. when the phones boot up they go and get there files from there server and seem to do an update. I have changed the file server to be the IP office as a test and the phones have now done a big upgrade and fixed all the problems I had. Has anyone had any issues using the Avaya Application server running Linux as a file server? All the files are the same on the SD card in the phone system and on the file server. I have read somewhere that you can only use the IP office for 50 handsets and I have 70 installed on site.
Cheers
