Good morning,

Does anyone knows if I am able to program this switch to send my own caller ID per station basis. I have a customer that has 2 different organizations under the same Avaya Definity G3 PBX and I need to program it so I can send the correct caller ID for each organization. I already called the carrier and they gave me the control so we can send the caller ID from the PBX. The PBX is using PRI for trunking. I also verified the trunk group for the PRI and it is set up for PUBLIC and I also set up The ISDN Public settings to have an extension with len 4, extension 2054, trunk group 4, ANI xxx-xxx-xxxx, ANI length 10 digits. I also set up the extension 2054 to send caller ID. It still doesn't work. May be I am missing something. Please help.

Thank you.

extension length should be 4, extension code should be 2 or 2xxx for a certain extension, then trunk group number (4 in your case)then cpn prefix would be the number that you want to outpulse, then total cpn length, which most likely is 10. does it stamp your main number? are you sure they are allowing you to do this

According to the service provider we are set up to do this but I am not sure. I tried already setting it up like you sais at the isdn public settings but it doesn't work yet.

And you are positive you are going out on the pri trunk group correct? just to make sure do a list trace station and see what trunk you are going out on
