I have an Avaya Defender i'm trying to locate the IP address for. I'm not to familar with the device, but i cann access the unit remotely. How do i find the IP address? What is the command? Please Advise.
You mean an older Definity system? list ip-interface might show you what IP boards you have in there. A CLAN board can be setup to allow terminal access for administration. Elaborate

Antaew, it depends on the release of software you are running. IP first came out in R7, for some limited things.
It really started to "work" for SAT access via CLAN cards in Release 9. post your "list config soft" screen info.
