Hello everybody,

I have just installed Avaya contact center Select 7.0 on new Vmware windows server 2012 R2 following the installation guide. Prerequisites are ok and the installation is complete, but when I try to open the dashboard, at the third party software information screen, it shows that the .net framework is missing and it keeps showing me error no matter what.

- I installed all the patches available from the support website for the 7.0 version.
- Download the hotfixes from microsoft and avaya support about .net frameworks but it says I can't install.
- any other version of the .net framework that I try to install, it says my .net framework is already installed the newest version.
- checked the version installed on my system, is the 4.6 .net framework.

Has anybody seen this before?

Think you should try to uninstall .Net 4.6 and reinstall 4.5.2, seems to be some issue with 4.6. Haven't tried it on ACCS though.

hello, jannie78

I think removing it's not a good ideia.

I read that uninstall the .net framework will probally crash the system and it's a hard work to get it back. I read strong recommendations to not to do that.

W2012R2 should come with 4.5.2, but think MS put 4.6 as a recommended update so that's why you got it.

You might wanna try installing 4.6.1 if you don't wanna reinstall everything.

Now is working

I did an uninstall of the windows updates. It really seems that the ACCS doesn't work well with .net framework 4.6 even when the manual says that you have to update the most recently patchs to your windows.

Nice!

Saw that they said that 4.6.x isn't supported and should be uninstalled so upgrading to 4.6.1 wouldn't have helped.
You can check the "Security Advisories" documents for ACCS, there is a Service Pack Hotfix Compability document that lists what's mandatory and not supported.
