Hi everyone!

I need your help
I have an IPO Server edition 9.1.11 with Onex-porta active. Users are using Avaya Communicator 2.0.3.30.
The problem begun after upgrade in the IPO Server from 9.1.8 to 9.1.11, the presence has been unstable. I have often I had to restart the One-x portal services to get presence again, but the chat not is working. I mean, I can see any user presence like active, but if I send a message in the chat portal the end user is unable to receive it

Is the XMPP service up?

What did you enter as the XMPP server address? 127.0.0.1, ip address portal server, fqdn portal server?

thanks for the quickly response Okkie26
Actually I didn't configure the Onex portal server yet, so there are the default values. This is an Application Server with Onexportal, Contact Recording and Voicemail Pro.
In the XMPP section is the hostname of IPO Server edition.

Okay.

And the xmpp name is resovable via dns?

Can you ping to the hostname?

Yes I can. All PCs can ping to the hostname. I'm thinking in change the Hostname to the IPO's domain.

Sorry If I am confused but is this a Server edition ore is it an application server attached to an IPO?

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

At the end, last SP for IPO Server Edition solved my problem. IPO 9.1.12.0.212

3.3 Server Edition / Applications Server 9.1.12.0.212 – Resolved field issues
IPOFFICE-122569 One-X Portal not working after Server Edition upgrade

I'm very grateful for your support

I gave you a star, because although we were not able to help you, at least you, as the topic starter, posted the solution you found yourself..

I also gave you a star. Not only did you post the resolution but you found it in documentation as a bug fix and upgraded the system based on it. Wish more people would do this type of leg work on here.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
