AVAYA Comcodes for XIMA

It seems that AVAYA has whitelabeled XIMA. Apparently if you purchase XIMA (AVAYA Chronicall) though AVAYA you will not need a CTI license. I am just glad that AVAYA is back to supporting the XIMA product again.
 
The downside of all this (which they don't make a big deal about) is the normal XIMA pricing has all increased by 25% (which is not insignificant) to match the Avaya pricing.

Avaya have always supported it no? They are a Dev-Connect partner after all.
 
I've never used the CTI license with Xima before and never had a problem.
 
You need it from R10 onwards due to changes in access to TAPI at that point.
 
Good to know. I guess our last install was on R9.1.
