OK. A stab in the dark

We have an Avaya solution CM6/Session Manager etc.

We also have 1 office that has an IP Office solution. What sort of integration can we do between the two.

Could we (wild dream) use the IP Office as a Gateway off the CM ?

Cheers

Kind of.... What version is the IP Office?

Do you have any SIP/TIE trunks setup between the sites at all?

You could do a digit translation but takes some work.

What IPO sw/hw do you have? With certain software versions (4 -7) you can have SIP trunking between the systems (providing you have the right licensing and hardware).

Avaya now have the B5800 gateway, which is IP500v2 hardware as a SIP gateway off SM, you may be able to migrate the IPO site to this.

Thankyou both. I am now in a position to spend more time to investigate. The system is in another country and I have not been able to get any body locally to geive me the full information yet.

At least now I know there are some options to progres.
