Is there a way to allow an end user to manipulate a coverage path via their phone?
CP = Answering Point1 = 7858, AP2 = 5825, AP3 - 5413, AP4 - variable

Not easily. I suppose if point 4 was a VDN with a vector and that vector said 'route to VARIABLE' that it could work. They'd need another VDN/vector to dial into that collected digits to set that global variable. It could be done, but it's not clean.

Depending on when, how and why they need to change that, there are probably cleaner ways to do that routing.

You can have 2 coverage paths assigned per phone then allow an end-user to toggle between the 2. They can't define the termination points though. The points are hard coded on each coverage path form.

Thank you for the information. The 2 CP option is not viable as there are more than two additional coverage endpoints.
I like the vdn/vector idea. Thank you both for the input.

not sure if this will work ...try setting AP 4 as a dummy station (logged off) and get the user to use the remote divert feature to divert to the variable number from the dummy number ....there may be a setting to check in 'cha sys cov' to make sure covered calls follow a divert
