We are about to upgrade definity Si cm 2.1 to S8500 cm 3.1.
We are recording digital & VoIP stations with Nice (LOG v8.8 and VoipLOG v8.9 and CLS v8.9). We have mapd with DLG on it and avaya CT 1.3 to connect NICE to CM.
We will upgrade avaya CT to AES.
What licenses do we need on CM for this CTI link to work with NICE and witch version of NICE do we need?

sorry I see that you have version 8.9 ,check AES licenses for the phones to record.

In addition to licenses for the phone you will need to monitor the ACD huntgroup (skills) extensions as well just like with the CVCT. May require further licensing, but I don't know for sure.

Smovk,

nice version 8.9 is fine. provided that you'll upgrade to cm 3.1 you don't need any additional licenses on cm itself but you need tsapi basic licenses on aes server. the formula is quite simple: one tsapi basic license per recorded extension, one tsapi basic per cmapi recording port (if you want to use cmapi style recording), one tsapi basic per monitored/recorded skill, one tsapi basic per monitored vdn -- if you want your vdns to appear in cls.
provided that you upgrade your ct 1.3 to aes, i think you already have all the licenses you need but better check with your vendor. ask them how many aes 3.1 tsapi basic licenses you will have after upgrade.
