Is it possible to convert an Avaya CM sln backup file into a human readable format, if not is there any documentation of the data inside such a file?
Thanks in advance

I've tried to run the man command but got the following:

dadmin@server1> man xln2txt
No manual entry for xln2txt

Thanks for your response
When I run this command, I see an explanation on how to run the command, however I would like to understand how to read the contents of the file without loading it back into the Pbx.

build ascii text file with hex based records that load translations to CM

xln2txt -p xln1 /var/home/ftp/pub/xln1.txt

read ascii text file
cd /var/home/ftp/pub
vi xln1.txt
less xln1.txt
