NoelOhashi, first of all, you should start your OWN thread, and not "threadjack" this one. The answer is no, AVAYA supports the Dell 1950 server, and CM 5.1.2 has been tested on that, you cannot assume any other platform will work. Also, you would need a license, and you would need to buy all of this from AVAYA or a Busines Partner, even if you managed to load CM on your system, you would not have a valid CM license, and AVAYA would not support it, as it is not on the approved server list.

Of course Id BUY licenses for the CM. It turns out Im using one DELL PowerEdge R200. This is any sort of Server. Turns out I believe its components seem to attend the same spedifications as the S8510. Dont you think?

NoelOhasi, you really need to check the AVAYA pricing, the server cost is minimal, compared to the cost of the licensing, and all of the other equipment you need to make a working phone system. Not buying the AVAYA S8510 (whichis a Dell 1950 in a certain configuation) from AVAYA won't save you very much at all, in the overall picture.

A typical S8510 system would come in at between 25K to 50K or more, depending on the configuation, cards/circuit packs, media gateways, phones, etc.
