I am having the same issue reported in the thread I referenced above. It occurs when I either use the "go shell" command or telnet directly to shell for a linux command prompt. I see the command prompt but when I type I do not see what I'm typing until after I hit enter.

I tried all of the offered solution in the referenced thread but none of them work.

Any ideas?

This is an Avaya CM 5.2.1 running on a S8800 pair.
