Hi,
please i need a help in below issue.
my phones are showing wrong time(10 Minutes Ahead). i have tried changing the Time and Date manually through Web Interface(SMI). but i cannot see an option to manually enter the Time. Customer don't have NTP Service for Syncing with Avaya CM.
however, i know in CM-5 and CM-6 we can change the time manually. can anyone help how can we achieve in CM 7.1 ?

CM version 7.1 Installed on AVP.

Best Regards,
Jerome

hi kyle555,
Thank you! but if i change the time, the AVP host will Reboot. also the CM will get Rebooted. customer wants to change the time without affecting any of their service.
any ideas..

Changing the time in a Linux OS should have you reboot everything anyway.

Should have been setup right with NTP in the first place and there's no way around an outage if you want to set the time manually.

NTP might be able to pull you back into sync from a 10 minute drift, but you'd need NTP to find out.

I would just get NTP setup and get them to all sync, even if it means they all sync off a switch or router. A single bad time source is better than multiple time sources.
