We have several Avaya machines and we have some that we cannot get into. It is acting like the admin account doesn't exist and we cant log in. Does anyone have any ideas? Picture attached.

This is typically due to a full partition. Also verify LDAP is running on DOM0.

df -h to see if your var partition is full. Delete log files if required.

To restart LDAP
cd /var/lib/ldap
sapd_db_recover -v
service ldap restart

Use the xm commands to access the CDOM from DOM (if you can access). See the Admin Manual for xm commands.

You can check out the CDOM password reset option at the theavayaengineer.workpress.com

bignose21 - We tried that link, seemed like the password reset but now when we try it, its showing invalid credentials

Jimbojimbo - We tried to restart ldap and get the following error

looks like -w root01 is incorrect since not all system were put in with a default password. There is a password file with the correct password. I forget where it is at. Might be in /opt/vsp or in the ldap directory. You'll need to find it. Also try -w admin01.

It is really time to upgrade. Old systems like this shouldn't even be on the network anymore.
