Hi All.
Getting this err when i do a display events,"Can't connect call to idle agent split x" it is affecting my call centre in a big way, any Ideas....pls

Can you display the events page at all when you type display events? You might be able to see what is happening by issuing a "list trace vector xx" and place a call to that vector via the VDN. Watch the call progress and see what is happening. That is probabaly a better way to trouble shoot anyway. You can also trac the VDN if you need to.

SAfrica,

are you using ip phones for agents? i've seen this when there were too few dsp resources and system couldn't connect a call to an agent when he/she was free. in this case it was my own mistake, i forgot to assign an ip address to g700's internal voip module. fixed this, and events were gone.

Thx for the help, i did ran a list trace vdn, vec and ewt, most of the calls are routing correctly, it is just the odd call getting stuck, dwalin i will investigate the dsp resources and get back to you, yes all agents are using ip phones, strangely all worked well until we bounced the system. maybe the gateway has lost an ip add,

Thx dwalin, found that gateway 1 v0 had a fault, also cant get v0 released, looks like its is gone, not even a sys reboot helped to release the voip.
