Avaya branded T7208 Terminals and headset compatibility issues 1

Hello Everyone

I've got a customer who has a Norstar Compact plus system and they have recently received a number of replacement phones which were to replace the older M7208 models due to faintness when a headset is used.

The Avaya branded T7208 phones are more of a problem than the original ones. Is anyone aware of any compatibility issues as I don't think there is anything I can alter within the Norstar programming.

There are no problems when using the supplied handset.

What brand/model of headset?

I have run into issues with some models of Plantronics when connected without an amp.

Thanks Curly. I think the Avaya branded phones are only suitable for the IP Office system. I've managed to find a user guide and it makes no reference to either the Norstar or BCM range of phone systems!.
