Our tech is loading AVP 8 on an Avaya R630 server.

The kickstart goes correctly and the AVP 8 DVD is accessed and loads the SW properly ... we are watching it on the monitor.

After the DVD disk ejects and the server reboots .... we are getting a "no OS loaded" error?

Checked the BIOS and all looks fine ...

First time we have run into this issue loading AVP 7 or 8?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

It sounds like it is installing to something other than the first hard disk (like the usb stick). You could boot the install DVD into the "No USB avaya-avp Installer" option if you have access to the console. It will then go through the normal ESXi screens and you can see if your disks show up as a target for installation. If you don't see the hard disk there then there is some BIOS or hardware problem preventing the installer from seeing them. You can also press "Alt-F12" during the install and monitor the logs to look for errors and installation location.
