Hi Sirs:
I have some third-party SIP phones (Huawei brand) that I have already connected to an Aura 10.1 platform without any issue.
1) Have any of you conducted SURVIVABILITY TESTs with any third-party SIP phones to make them behave in the same way as explained in this URL?
2) What technical requirements should a third-party SIP phone have to behave the same way as an Avaya J100 phone in terms of SURVIVABILITY?

I would greatly appreciate any comments or guidance you can provide.

Avaya SIP phones support PPM - personal profile manager - and that's what includes list of servers to register to - including the BSM.

Your Huawei SIP phone would not support that, so it must have some list of servers to register to and failover/failback settings.
