Hi, our Avaya Aura Messaging needs to be upgraded from version 6.3.3 SP 4 to version 6.3.3 SP 8. I wanted to know if I need to upgrade System Platform as well? We are CM 6.2.2. Thanks.

how can I find out what version of System Platform I have. I could not find a document including the one you mentioned that explained how to find out.

swversion from the linux CLI. usually for AAM and CM type templates, if you ssh into CM/AAM and cat /etc/hosts you'll see that there's fqdn's named cdom.vsp and dom0.vsp already built in there.

So long as you can cli into your AAM, you can probably ssh admin@dom0.vsp or ssh admin@cdom.vsp to login and type swversion. CDOM's IP also hosts a web page for a webconsole to manage the server and it would tell you as well.
