Avaya Aura Conference Rm phones 1

Does anyone have any suggestions for Avaya Aura Conference rm VOIP (H.323) phones? All I've come across so far is the Avaya B179 which has a price tag of $800.00.

The B179 is a SIP phone. The only H.323 that I am aware of is the Avaya 1692, but its price tag is higher ($1,100). Unless, you buy it refurbished. The only other option is to purchas the older Avaya 4690 (only refurbished available) and you should be able to get it for about $300-$400.

Avaya just announced the impending end-of-sale of the 1692 and the introduction of the B189 (

It is H.323, works on CM 5.2.1 or later, and cheaper than the 1692.

The B189 only started shipping at the beginning of January. Do a web search and you will find some additional information.

Thanks to everyone for the input. In my quest, I've stumbled along a manufacturer called Konftel. I'm looking at the 300IP conference room phone. Has anyone ever heard of or used them? They look similar to the AVAYA B series conference room phones and more reasonably priced. I found a pdf stating that they are compatible with Avaya but I have not found many reviews.

The B189 is H.323 and works great as a conference phone with out the firmware issues of the 1692
