Avaya Aura® Communication Manager (CM) System Management Interface (SMI) R016x.02

Hi,
I have created a profile55 in the CM. I am able to log into asa and have shell access, busyout and all the other commands available.
The issue is that I can not login to the System Management Interface (SMI)with my login credentials while under this new profile. I get a "do not have permissions" when I enter my user name/pw
Any help with this will be appreciated?

why not just use profile 18

We need shell access and prof18 is set to no. As far as I know we can not change prof 18 ?
