Good day to you all ..
-
Just have a quick question that I hope someone can help me with ...
I know that I can do a command to find the un-registered devices [specifically IP]

Example:
list multimedia ip-unregistered ext 73000 to-ext 73399

And I could also do a report for that .. and a report for List Station and do some Excel magic to get the phone extension and the phone type
Is it possible to run a report or command that will give me both without having to export and do fancy Excel 'stuff'?
--
Any help will be greatly appreciated ...
--
I know from previous that there are different commands in GEDI and others I can do in Emulation .. but not sure where to look for such a thing.

Thanks!

Unless im missing something you have answered your own question ,"List Station" gives you all stations built ,registered or otherwise.

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

What I mean is .. that I don't want to run two separate reports ..
I probably wrote the thing out wrong ..
-
I am only interested in a range of numbers - and want to know if they are un-registered - and what the extension and phone type is ..
However, when you run the: list multimedia ip-unregistered ext 73000 to-ext 73399 the only thing that is returned as a result is the extension

Is there a command/string that I can use in GEDI or Emulation that will give me the phone extension and the phone type in a range for un-registered IP phones only ...

list multimedia ip-stations ext 73000 to-ext 73399

This will give Extension, Port, and Registered Y/N

Not a perfect system but something I do often to identify a bunch of phones that fit a certain criteria............

1. run/export your unreg report (or any other report you need to use to identify a bunch of stations of interest) just as you have been doing.
2. Find a station field in the PBX you never use (I usually pick "set color"). Import a CHANGE STATION for your list of stations you identified from step one into ASA ONLY changing the set color to RED (or something else unused).
3. Export the full list of PBX stations including set color and all other criteria you need, sort with excel by set color and you have your list.

Of course when you're done, you'll need to reimport a change to the identified stations to change all of the set colors back to BLACK or something else so you can do the same trick again in the future. Sounds like a bit of work but really only 3 steps, idiot proof, and removes any possible fat finger errors. Also adaptable to any report data you're trying to identify/isolate.
