Avaya and Interquartz

I am having a problem with message waiting lamps on Interquartz discovery phones.
Interquartz tell me to turn on message waiting lamps in extensions tab in the Manager software for all analogue ext. Then the lamps will light on the phones when a VM message has been left.
This does not work or I can't get it to work.
Does anyone have any ideas.

There was a problem with earlier firmware versions - i think it was resolved in 1.4(37)?

However, I have known people still have problems with other analogue phones.

the interquatz phones have s switch setting thats sets the MWI method, try experementing to find one that works

Unfortunatly due to the number of different MWI protocols Avaya do not support MWI on Analog Phones
(it does not even work with Avayas own 20AT!)
