Here is the scenario:

I have the main site S87xx/G650 soltuion CM5.0 and I also have 5 remote sites connected through ethernet(through fiber) but no copper tie lines because of the distance limitation.
Now instead of going for G350/G700 remote gateways to extend analog extension lines which is much of a cost, is there any other solution just like the Cisco ATA for this requirements? The remore sites will have up to maximum of 60 analog extension users.

Thanks

60 analog extensions, you should put a G350 in the site... The other alternative, is to use a G250

there are 4 models of the G250, the base modem has 8 POE ports, 2 analog stations, and 4 CO trunk ports. Cost is $2200 list

Also, Multitech does have solutions, for single, dual, quad and 8 remote analog stations. It costs almost as much as the AVAYA solution with the 4 or 8 ports though.

You should probably just use a G250 or G350, so you can make the sites survivable. and you should also get 1 POTS line at each site for E911. What will happen when someone dials 911 from your remote site, and the emergency personel show up at your main site? can you say lawsuit?

Thanks. We also used Multitech VoIP in some of our remote sites with 911 support each location. Cisco ATA is like a 2port analog connected to Call Manager through LAN using SIP protocol. I never had experience with Avaya SES, now I am trying to look for a 3rd party box same with Cisco ATA (wherein in the MAC address of each ATA analog port is defined in the call manager giving up 2 different analog extension nos.) Is it possible to do it in AVAYA SIP-based servers? for as long as the 3rd party box support SIP?
