Hi -

So I have my Avaya Agent for Desktop connected via SIP and is registered to our Session Mangers...but when I open my One-X Agent and try and login using 'Place and receive calls via - Deskphone'....I get an error message stating 'the telephone you are trying to share control of is currently out-of-service'. Is this because my Avaya Agent for Desktop is registered to our Session Managers and not directly to the CM (via h323)? Is there a way I can get this to work?

one-X Agent is H.323 so cannot use shared control with a SIP phone.

Go to settings in 1X Agent and select SIP protocol from H323, it will then restart the application

I went into the One-X Agent settings but am not able to find a place to change from H323 to SIP?

I've never seen a version of OneX Agent that is SIP capable. Communicator yes. Agent, no.
