Avaya ACS R4.0 Hum on intercom calls

Have a ACS R4 in a 5 Slot Carrier that is making a hum on stations 10-17 while making and during an intercom call. The other cards (308EC's in the other slots) are fine. Station 20 to intercom 22 no hum. Station 10 to 12, loud hum. It's only happening on the Processor and not the other modules. A reboot did nothing. The hum is not present on the CO's. Is it time for a new Processor? If yes, can a backup to the PC card(SYSTEM PROGRAM #124) then a restore(#125) to the new processor save all the time of reprogramming the system. There is 32 stations in use at this time. Any help would be great. Thanks

Sounds like the ACS needs to be sent out for repair. You can back it up, but you can only restore to another R4.

Thanks Brian. I can get a R4 from my supplier. This might be the only option, other then living with the hum
