Hi guys,

Has anyone worked with VPN tunnel for 9630 Avaya phone but with Draytek Router? I've already configure VPN as IPsec Tunnel with Preshared key, it seems like it founds the gateway and start with key interchange but after 15 seconds I receive IKE PHASE 1 no response. Do you know if Draytek is compatible with tunnel vpn for this Avaya Model or have any recomendations?

Thanks,

ipsec is a standard, why dont you jump into that draytek, and check the ipsec/vpn logs?

As far as I am aware the VPN Phones have never worked with Draytek routers. There is a list of what is what is supported or alternatively you could set the phone up as a H.323 NAT remote phone?

Draytek should work fine, anything that supports IPSec Dial-in users should work with VPN phones.

We tried a couple of times to get the Avaya phones working with Drayteks and got nowhere with them - like Janni says anything that supports IP-Sec Dial in should work, but over the past 11 years I have discovered this is not always the case.
