System specs.
Avaya 8710 dual servers version 5 (no IP) (soon to upgrade to 8800)on legacy G3r foundation. 12 EPN sites and one G700 CM on Point to Point T-1's getting Slips and erros daily. replaced all cards and CSU's on both ends. i saw some threads on this but no resolutions.

On point to point T-1's for a week now. Carrier says it isnt them, but have seen smallnumber of erros on long tests on their circuits. these have been in for 20 years. 12 EPN sites, 3 out of 4 starting to have issues daily. dosent affect all sites just a few. any suggestions? Syncronization has not changed, set up the same at all sites. Sometimes they run clean for half a day then go bonkers. No patterns. First site we replaced the Ds1 at both ends, disconnected form carrier and looped and ran clean all night to itself. I think carrier has an issue they cannot find. any help much appriciated.

Avaya says looks like carrier... lots of finger pointing, no resolution..mad users.. any suggestions?
Thank you

Schedule a vendor meet and let them fight it out at the DMARC... I had the same issue, and it was a VZ problem. Unfortunately I can't recall what the issue was, but once both sides were together in the same room the problem was evident to VZ.

Well, after almost a month of issues I found the problem and learned a lot about ATM switches and G8300's

The AC outlet was causing issues. I dont know what it was doing, supposed to have been a dedicated / isolated outlet, but when I changed the outlet all error second cleared. This is one for the books. The system never logged any power resets or issues.

Thanks for the help.
