On Avaya 6416D+ phones, can the AutoDial buttons be set to call an outside number from the ASA Console? Or can it be done from the phone itself? Thanks in advance!

I think both should be possible, you need to create autodial buttons and user can put in numbers or you can from CM.

AutoDial buttons can be set via ASA. You should include the line access code and any international prefix as well (9 00 31 xxx....) if necessary. Enter the number exactly as you would dial it manually.

Code:
BUTTON ASSIGNMENTS
 1: call-appr 5:
 2: call-appr 6:
 3: call-appr 7:
 4: autodial 912125551212 8:

I'm also assuming the station has the correct class of restriction to allow outside dialing.

There is a way to add numbers from the phone so that users can set their own without bothering you all the time. Check out "Abbreviated Dialing/Automatic Dialing (AD)" in the 6400 documentation
