Hello everyone,

I know this is a long ...old shot but it worth a try.
Got an old IP403 Office DT ver 3 (580).
Manage to reset it to initial state then upgrade it to ver 3
Got a phone to test it Avaya 5410D but when I plug it in .... please wait ......
I read EVERY post regarding 5410 in this forum I did everything following those posts .... no luck
I try with Ip office 5,6 and 9 ..... as soon as i plug it in it say Please Wait .....
5410D REL:2.00 9/21/04 on top
The LED on unit port are not even lit when plug it in but time to time flash the green ones on some of the ports.
I can get the config file and send it back can monitor the tftp can access the unit via DTM ... but i cannot upgrade the damn evil phone.
I run windows 8 on the pc that using Ip office.

If any of you have any idea ... i will really appreciate it.
Ill gladly supply any info regarding the system is required.

Thank you very much in advance,
Andrew

DT is digital terminal, 5410s are DS (digital station) phones, they're totally incompatible with DT ports :)

Right ....... simple :)
Thank you so much. So the only phones I can use on that unit are 2000 series ...right ?

Thank you,
Andrew

Those used the old 2030 phones, the INDeX ones, if I remember correctly (the 20 series). It's been...a while.

Thank you.
Can it be upgraded with a DS extension module so the DS phones be supported ?

Andrew

It just can't go past R3.2 and the DT ports on the front are no use past R2.1/R3.0DT
