Avaya 4412D/4424D Display Language Setting 1

Does anyone know how to change the language setting for the display on an Avaya 4412D+ or 4424D+ phone? Someone has managed to switch one off English.

You do it (system-wide) under: menu, system programming, start, more, language, systemLang - and pick your choice. You can also override the sywtem language setting at any particular display extention.

To change a single extention: do the above steps - but pick "Extentions', single, enter the extention number, and then choose a language.

Thanks so much. I wonder how they were able to change it from the phone in the first place.

The extention's language can also be programmed by the user at their extention. If you press feature 790 = English; Feature 791 = French; Feature 792 = Spanish.
