Hi,

I am running Avaya IP Office 9.1 and have about two dozen 3641 wireless phones in use at three different locations.

These have worked pretty well for us as they are in warehouses and the calls tend to be internal only and short. I have built my wireless network in a very robust way to help accommodate the phones.

Since these are now getting hard(er) to source I am looking for possible alternatives.

What I have seen so far:
Avaya Communicator and use tablets or smart phones.
Use one of the many Devconnect certified SIP wireless phones.
Use DECT phones either directly connected or via SIP at the base.

Can any of you give me any specific recommendations? What works and what doesn't and what is the general cost of each.

I know this subject had come up in the past but since most of the searching I did came up with older topics I figured some if this may have changed recently.

Thanks,

JF

I've used Spectralink 8400's and they work well. Only downside is they are a bit pricey and require a 3rd party endpoint license.

Mitel 5624 and also 3rd party ip endpoints required.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
