Avaya 2410 / 2420 model phone does not show caller ID and timer when call is put on hold

Our organization still uses Avaya digital 2410 / 2420 model phones as well as Avaya 4610 / 4620 IP phones. On the 4610 and 4620 models, when you place a call on hold, the display shows the caller ID and the call timer beside the line that is on hold. On the digital 2410 and 2420 models this does not happen. The phone features are pretty much identical except for this one feature. Our scheduling department recently moved and had to switch from the 4610 IP models to the 2410 digital models and are really missing this feature because the nature of their job requires putting multiple callers on hold and the caller ID and timer helps them know who is on what line and how long they've been on hold which helps determine which line to pick back up first.

Anyone know of a way to make this work on a digital 2410 model? We do plan to upgrade to IP phones eventually at their new location but are still months away from that. TIA for an advice.
