Avaya 1616 Factory Testing on screen

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can help me.

Our client noticed that their phone was constantly rebooting itself and for some reason they did Mute - 3228679#, now the screen just says factory testing on the screen.

I am wondering if anyone has seen this before?

Well that number spells Factory. I have not heard of that code. Maybe you can enter again to stop the madness.
So you appear to have quite an inquisitive user.

It's as if it is looking for a IPO that has testing software on it like Avaya will have before shipping them out.

Iwill try that and see if it works

Not sure about your factory testing screen, but a 1616 phone that constantly reboots is a known bug in firmware 1.320s.

You need to upgrade the PBX to the latest 8.1.69 firmware with 1.330D, or get the bins just for the 1616 phone.
