This is a silly question- I just added an additional phone ot my system. It is an Avaya 1416. when i call that new extension, it rings to his phone and doesn't intercom to his phone - How the heck do I change this?
When I call any phone, I expect it to ring the phone rather than intercom it - that's the default for pretty well every phone I've met in the last 30 years.
So maybe tell us a bit more about what you are dialing, how the phones and IP Office are configured, and why you are expecting an intercom call rather than a normal call.
let me see if I can explain- SO when an outside call comes in, everyone's phones ring. so the employees just ignore it because I am the one that actually answers it. So when we try to communicate to each other, internally from office to office we all have intercom so when i push the button for coworker Emily, it intercoms to her phone. So my new guys phone, it does not do that and I need it too.
