We have Symantec Antivirus 10.1 CE running on Windows 2003 Servers, that uses Distributed File System (DFS) and has a DFS Link that is replicated between each other.
Now the problem is that every night when Symantec Antivirus is running a scheduled scan on this DFS Link, the FRS (File Replication Service) Staging Area is filled up and replicated across the servers. This is of course not what I want since the files have not been changed, other than whatever changes Symantec Antivirus does to these files??
I cannot find anything about this problem on the Symantec web, has anyone got a clue how to fix this without excluding the DFS Link from the Scheduled Scan?
