Auxiliary Ringing Port

We recently installed a Valcom control unit to ring several paging speakers on several incoming lines. It is working on the Compact ICS using Aux. ring port & ringing option.

Can the contact closure duration be lengthened to allow for longer ringing time on the speakers? Right now it's just a short burst.

What kind of Valcom Control unit?

Do we have a part #?

How is your system programmed for this to ring the lines?

The contact closure lenghth can't be adjusted but most over page devices can be set for "contact duration" or " trigger".

example: the Bogan TG4C has momentary or long duration strap.

The Valcom control unit is V - 2001A.
Is there an adjustment on Valcom unit?

Norstar Lines are programmed for Auxiliary Ringing to be on.

Perhaps you should change the setup...or for future reference you can use the Valcom V-9936A. You can connect straight dial-tone to it, or use an ATA. Then the ringing follows standard cadence.
