What is the auxiliary ID used for in an OPT 11?

Ace, the auxid when you prt a tid. To be honest I have never known what it is for and have never worried about it except when upgarding and sometimes they sent you a new one

The AUX ID is your Voice Mail serial number. If purchased at the same time as your PBX, it matches the PBX TID. If you purchased it separately, then it has a unique one.

u will get the aux id and tid the same
this number u can see on the security which mean the dongle u put on the ssc card , u cant change it cause its became together with your keycode unless u lost it in the installetion and u want new one from nortel.
