I am not an Access user but I have created a basic database with an autonumber primary key within the table. Due to testing etc the autonumber has obviously incremented accordingly. Is there a simple way of resetting this value to zero/01
No need for apologies, I just pointed you to the search as it is easier for you to view the prewritten solutions than for them to be re-written in this thread.
The simple solution is to delete all the records and compact & Repair database
TOOLS > DATABASE UTILITIES > COMPACT & REPAIR.
