How can i Automate a crystal report
and send the results during the day to email recipients

Do I need to wrire a program that will do this
i am not very good in scripting... what can i do?

what version of crystal do you have? some versions have this ability "built in," others don't.

Check out Ido Millet's VisualCut solution, I've had and heard great success stories with it:

There are many other solutions as well, and you can write your own code depending upon whether you have the deveopers edition, or you cna look at Crystal Enterprise.

I think that CR 8.5 came with a slightly crippled version of Crystal Enterprise 8 as a bonus, it might have allowed for scheduling, but I can't recall.

The other cheap (well, free) and dirty solution is to obtain a macro recorder program that has a scheduler built in.

Lots of them out there...
