Has anyone done an automation with Adobe Acrobat Writer???

I have been tasked to create a process that will open each file in a folder with adobe, basically perform a ctrl+v (paste action), save and close the file.

I have no problems with the for each file part, and no problem making the adobe files open through a shell command. But this doesn't relly give me control of the file.

Is this even possible?

I'd rather not spend hours tryingt o get this set up if it ain't even doable....looking for the expert advice from you all.... Please remember to give helpful posts the stars they deserve!
This makes the post more visible to others in need! [thumbsup2]

Robert,
Although this is not the direct answer, I had my intern work on a similar project with Postage statements (I fill out about 30 per week). She mentioned that simple math is easy, but any other work had to be done in Java.

We were considering tying the pdf's to a mdb for an effective autofill and print, but we didn't have time to run with it.

I would be interested in following along with this also...

Tx,
