Can anyone tell me what the above error means and how to fix it.

I support a Visual Basic Application and I have a user trying to use an email function on the software. He is using Windows XP and his ISP is AOL.

When trying to use the email function, the message returned is:

"Caused when GET, HEAD, POST or PUT methods are used within a timeout parameter."

The above message is recorded in the error log.

Is this a browser issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No we don't I got one of our developers to check through the forms and there are none that include a web control....

I got a similar error time ago and I was going nuts so I called MS and we debugged the app together cause the error was not documented

Oh Dear! The problem is we could debug the app but won't help my user who already has the software installed....
