Has anyone set up a time table for the CMS Full Maintenance? We just upgraded from R14 to R16 and now use NFS for any and all backups. We would like to automate the Full Maintenance Backup. Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks,

Don

Are you just wanting the system to do its backups of CM translations on a scheduled basis?

No. I was referring to CMS Full Maintenance Automated Backup not CM. I have found the procedure but appreciate the reply.

Thank,
Don

I have tried to script the CMSADM backup but have not been successful and my searches have yielded no alternatives. I'm subscribing in hopes that someone has found a solution.

Fataldata,

You might be able to create a Cron Job but according to Avaya CMSADM is a manual process. I'm sure someone here has figured out the Cron settings and has had success. I myslelf have not.

Most people reboot at the same time they do the admin backup. Do you plan to automate that as well?

One step at a time. Rebooting via a cron job is easy but I have not looked into it, ultimately yes I would like to automate backups and reboots.
