Hi there, I was wondering what the code was to get a form to automatically pop up when a user opens the database? I tried: "DoCmd.OpenForm "form name" " but that didnt seem to work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Hi

Two ways at least to do this

1 see Tools\Startup and then see startup form

2 use an autoexec macro (ie create a macro to open then form and save the macro as autoexec, it will then run when database is opened

Hi, dustinros,

Tools->Startup->Display Form/Page

Ken S.

I'm number 3 down in this forum. Stay away from Tools\Startup\remove toolbars checkboxes. I cannot get my toolbars back and it seems to be an access issue that is real hard to crack. I use the autoexec and that is by far and away your best option.

Hey, thanks everybody, I got to the tools>startup (why I never though to check that first, we'll never know...) and it's working great! I also keep that in mind about the toolbars, so thanks again everybody!

Hi, bittorents,

You've launched your DB while holding down the Shift key (to bypass Startup options) and still cannot get your toolbars back?

Oops, sorry, bittorents, just saw your other thread...
