Hello Everyone

I am currently working on a project that is trying to compile an overview presentation from smaller presentations about each department in our company. They want the end result to be one main folder with every presentation and then a final presentation that can be tailored to your specific use, based on which departments you are going to talk about. Some of the higher ups wanted to make it automatically update from the smaller presentations (that way each department only needs to update their presentation and it will automatically update the larger presentation). So far the only way I've found has been to copy each individual slide and paste it as a link. Is there a better/easier/quicker way of doing this?

Any hints, tips or advice is much aprreciated.

Cheers,
Kat

Have you tried using the Edit --> Links option? In the Links window, click on each link in the list and set it to automatic?

Acupuncture Development: a jab well done.

Suggest looking at what LNBRuno has offered. One thing to bear in mind. In order to maintain the "automatic" capability for updates, ensure that all presentations that are linked reside in exactly the same places when the links were created. Any movements and you will break the link.

Thus forcing the "higher ups" to do more work.

And that will never do.

I was able to make the link update automatically, but it required me to individually copy each slide and paste it into the new presentation. It's not a huge amount of work, but my department has around 100 slides by itself and with 6 other departments it's just a lot of copying and pasting. I was wondering if there was a way to copy the entire presentation at once and paste it as a link.

Cheers,
Kat
