I have an order book in Paradox which everyone in the company accesses. The form for this automatically opens in edit as I have a formula that calculates as soon as the form opens, so if I take the data beginedit code out then I get an error message. Everyone opens this form in the morning regardless of whether they need to work in it or not. So....can anyone enlighten me to some code that will take the form out of edit after a period of inactivity?

Would be grateful of any help, thanks

Annie

When the calulation code finishes, just issue an

if isedit() then endedit() endif

Otherwise, you'll likely need to look into timer event.
