Hello, very new to the world of Access (2 days).

I have created a form which will allow multiple selections and use these as input into a query. This works fine.

To display the output I would like to open a existing form automatically using the result of the query as source data.

How can I do this?

Thanks for any advice.

Make this query the recordsource of the form, and open it. Use for instance the button wizard to create an openform routine.

Or are you after something else, then please specify.

Thanks for your very speedy reply. Very helpful exactly what I was after.

Thank you for posting this. I am trying to do exactly the same thing. I have one gigantic table and to make it easy to search, I want to create a form that will allow multiple selections and use these as input into a query. How did you do this? Thanks

5694, first build a form with whatever controls you want your users to use to select the values. Then develop a query that uses the values on the form as criteria. Then develop a form that uses the query as its record source. Place a button on the criteria form to open the form that uses the values.
