Hello all,

I was wondering what prompts need to be changed to make a terminal stop logging me out. I have a remote location that logs me out automatically after 20 minutes. This is a problem because over a modem it's taking me more time than that to download TNB and SCL information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Arch

You should not be getting logged out while the TNB is printing. The timeout only occurs after keyboard inactivity. This timer will not start untiul after the output you requested is complete.

Hmm, that doesn't seem to be the case in this instance. Is there any other reason that I'd be getting logged off, other than a forc from another terminal?

Thanks,
Arch

Hi,

As far as I know you can't disable auto logout. But you can specify the time out in the PWD datablock in LD 17 at the LOUT prompt
