We get a daily report in Excel that has a whole lot of information in it that is not pertinent to our operation. Normally I will go to the one worksheet I need, filter for just my information, and then copy and paste. One file, every day.
The workbooks use the same naming for the individual worksheets but the filenames are named by date.
Is there a way to import this information from multiple workbooks all at once through some VB or Macro or something?

Hello Scruff57,
If you did not get an answer to your question try the ACCESS VB SQL Advisor magazine. the had some sample code a while back for just that application. I loked thru my back issues and could not find it.

I found the article
Access VB SQL June 2002. "Take command of your external data".
If I can be of futher assistance please let me know

Start by creating an import specifications file...

While importing the data from Excel, hit the options button on the import wizard and tell it you wanna save to an import spec file...

Once you've done that, you can work toward coding it to open any workbook in [path] using vba...
